Too create a budget there are three things that are needed for a budget.
Variable Cost, Fixed costs and Break-even Point.
Variable cost: A variable cost is a amount that can increase and decrease depending on the level of sales the game produces, for example it covers the cost of the disc and or the manual that is included in the game case and also covers the cost of the packaging. A variable cost is the gross profit of the sales.
Fixed Cost: A fixed cost is only valid within a certain range of sales. If the estimated sales are exceeded there limit the fixed cost will change according to the sales. An example of this is if it takes one person to make 100 games per hour, but to produce more games more people would be need to be employed so the fixed number will change.
Break-even Point: This is the point where you would either gain or lose money. Or the point where you neither lose money or gain it either. Which is known as breaking even.
